Hey,
In this post i'm going to run through the models that I predict will appear in the Jack Daw crew box (Jack, Montresor, 3xGuilty, Lady Ligeia) I'm not going to go through everything, but just going to try and explain how I see them working in a crew, what skills they have and how they can contribute.
So, lets begin:

Malifaux ToMB Month 2 - a change afoot
Tale of Malifaux Bloggers - Month 2.
Hi all, and welcome to my month 2 post for #ToMB or Tale of Malifaux Bloggers, i'm here to discuss how I've been doing with my master of choice - Jack Daw............ what? Ramos? who's he?...... ok - you caught me out.
I had initially chosen Ramos as my #ToMB master, bought the box set, built it up and had a couple of games with him, but I just wasn't feeling it. As nice as it was hitting people with Joss and Howard and making hundreds of spiders it just felt a bit... meh.
As well as playing with Ramos I had also been experimenting with a fella by the name of Jack Daw and the difference was amazing, I felt enthused and excited trying out different things with him, so I've decided to retcon myself and switch to Jack Daw's crew and Outcasts.

Tale of Malifaux Bloggers - Conversions!
Heyho,
So - I've been doing some work on my Ramos crew this week, build most of it and done a bit of a conversion to Dr Ramos himself.

A Saga for the ages
Hey all, I'm bored sitting in a server room at work after getting here to find no fault to fix, so I thought I'd write up a few thoughts about another new game I started last year - Saga.
So Saga - what is it?
Saga is a 28mm Dark ages miniatures skirmish game published by Gripping Beast, it's played using 2 opposing forces consisting of between 20 and 50 models depending on game size and forces used.
There are quite a few armies available over a range of supplements and rulebooks, these supplements contain the background and battle boards for the forces - wait what's a battle board? Well I'll come to that in a bit.

State of the Union - Bolt Action
What's this?? Two posts in quick succession?? Have I gone mad? - nope, just trying to get caught up in nearly 2 years of blogging, normal service will resume shortly.
So, My new years resolution of 2013 was 'Only buy models once I've painted some, a 1 in, 2 out system' This fell rapidly by the wayside as I started not 1, but about 4-5 new systems :s These include:

- Bolt Action
- Saga
- Judge Dredd
- X-wing
- Dropzone commander
First one I'm going to post about is the one I've played the most of, Bolt Action. So what is it?
Bolt Action is a 28mm scale 'platoon' level world war 2 game published by Warlord Games. I'd read about this game for a few months before finally jumping in with a couple of clubmates - the initial plan was to use our existing flames of war miniatures and playing it in 15mm, this quickly went out the window as we looked at the 28mm scale figures and also seeing how reasonably priced the models were.

State of the Union -- Warhammer
So, my last attempt at blogging seems to have fallen by the wayside, it's been about 21 months since my last post, so what's been going on since then?
This post and the ones following will mostly be a 'state of the union' - letting everyone know where i'm up to and things occuring in the future, hopefully i'll be updating it more often in the future, thanks to #secretstuff
Well, the previous few posts were about my Samurai Empire army and I'm happy to say i've nearly finished it :)
I've assembled and painted about 2k of them, I've still got a few things left to finish off, but as always it's been overtaken by other projects, anyway - here's some pics of things as they currently stand.
